Pomegranate Ellagitannins:
- Pomegranate’s primary polyphenols are the Ellagitannins (hydrolizable tannins)(1) & punicalagins.
- Punicalagins are unique to the pomegranate (2). pomma+ is rich with punicallagins.
- Authentic Pomegranates naturally contain low levels of ellagic acid (1)(3).
- Ingredients standardized to high ellagic acid are not the reflective natural profile of an actual pomegranate (4).
